FASHION IS IN WAR NOW!!!
In a desperate attempt of finding new inspirations designers have landed on the military world, the greens and browns and the boots and huge pockets, the large bottoms and belts and offcouse the military caps, and effectively they have turned ugly uniforms into incredibly fashionable garments; since the amazing cover shot of vogue with gisele bundchen (may of 2010 latin america issue) I have seen the strong influence of military inspired fashion such as: some louboutin boots,or some tory burch boots as well, that have like a hiking surface for the shoe soles. Also the collection of basement I saw on the september 2010 latin america issue uses all the military colors like the military green and the caqui color skirts, some collections like maxmara, chloe and lanvin are using the camel color, such as sand browns, beiges with military accessories such as big belts, and metal bottoms lots of leather and squared shoulders on the jackets; some of the really military inspired collections have been A.F. vandervost, Jill stuart, Burberry prorsum, Celine,Oscar de la renta, maxmara as I said before, Rebecca taylor, Salvatore ferragamo, etro and last but not least christian Dior ; and accessories from hermes and marni sun glasses, and a louis vuitton ring.
